SCHEDULED INSTALLATIONS ACROSS JOHANNESBURG
M&N Solars has installed and repaired solar geysers since 1978. From our Pretoria North base, we complete scheduled solar geyser installations, conversions and repairs throughout Greater Johannesburg.
PLEASE NOTE
We travel from Móregloed in Pretoria North, so Johannesburg installations and repairs are completed by scheduled appointment rather than same-day emergency callout. Before you book, we will confirm that the timing and travel arrangements make sense for your property.
SOLAR HOT-WATER OPTIONS
There is no single system that suits every roof, household or budget. We consider your current geyser, available roof space and normal hot-water use before recommending an installation.
Flat-panel collectors provide a durable and proven solar water-heating solution. Our systems use collectors selected for outdoor conditions, including resistance to frost, corrosion and wind.
Best suited to:
Evacuated-tube systems offer efficient solar collection and can be useful where the available roof area is limited or stronger hot-water output is required.
Best suited to:
In many cases, an existing electrical geyser can be converted to solar without replacing the storage tank. Suitability depends on the condition, position and configuration of the current geyser.
Available capacities:
SYSTEM SIZING
We install high-pressure and low-pressure systems in 100L, 150L, 200L and 300L capacities. The right choice depends on how many people use hot water, when they use it, the available roof space and the plumbing already installed.
An oversized system increases the initial cost, while an undersized system may not provide enough hot water. We help you choose the practical middle ground.
SMARTER WATER-HEATING CONTROL
GeyserWise controllers can be incorporated into suitable solar installations to help manage water temperature, heating times and electrical backup. Available functions depend on the controller model and system configuration.

Weather and site conditions permitting, many domestic solar geyser installations can be completed in one day. More complex plumbing, roof access or preparation may require additional time.
In many cases, yes. We first need to assess the condition, location and configuration of the existing tank to determine whether conversion is practical and cost-effective.
Yes. Our installation workmanship carries a one-year guarantee. Products and system components retain their applicable manufacturer warranties.
The cost depends on the system type, tank capacity, collector, roof configuration, plumbing changes and access. Request an estimate and we will provide an itemised proposal for the recommended installation.
The correct capacity depends on household size and hot-water habits rather than property size alone. We offer systems from 100L to 300L and will recommend a practical capacity after discussing your normal usage.
